What infrastructure is available to us?
A Gesäuse shelter.
What will we eat?
During the day we will supply ourselves with snacks, in the shelter there will be half board (dinner, breakfast).
Where will we sleep?
In a mattress dormitory or multi-bed room in the shelter
What happens if it rains heavily or storms?
In heavy rain or storm, we will stay in the shelter.
Can I take my mobile phone with me?
Yes. Mobile phones can be taken along and are mainly intended for memory photos. There are designated phone times for contacting home. In case of severe homesickness or in special situations, a call to the parents is also possible outside of these times. In urgent cases, the rangers are reachable by phone (depending on network coverage).
What standards apply in the Gesäuse National Park regarding child and youth protection?
We consistently implement child and youth protection in our summer camps. We orient ourselves to the guiding principles and code of conduct of the Naturfreundejugend. Our rangers are appropriately trained and commit to respect, appreciation, and responsible behavior when dealing with children and adolescents. More information

Arrival information
The parking lots in the Gesäuse National Park are subject to charges (day ticket € 7.00). More information about the parking lots can be found here. General information regarding access to the Gesäuse National Park is available here.
For access to our events, we recommend public transport. Alternatively, during the summer months, the Gesäuse Sammeltaxi (+43 3613 21000 99) can be used.
