The Freiberg cross-country ski trail is part of the Salzkammergut cross-country ski trails, which cover more than 200 km.

Easy cross-country trail with a magnificent view of the Grimming.

The current cross-country skiing trail report can be found on the website of the Ausseerland Salzkammergut Tourism Association.
There you will also find the prices for the cross-country skiing maps and an overview of the distribution points for Bad Mitterndorf, Tauplitz and the Tauplitzalm.

Arrival with the car to the Freiberg cross-country skiing trail in Tauplitz.

With a magnificent view of the Grimming, you are on the slightly undulating Freiberg cross-country ski trail in a beautiful natural landscape.

From the bus stop in Tauplitz Ort it is about a 15-minute walk to the cross-country ski trail entrance. From Tauplitz train station to the cross-country ski trail it is about a 30-minute walk.

Salzkammergut Shuttle Ausseerland - individual call taxi
On five routes between Sandling and Grimming daily from 07:00 to 22:00 on the road.

Parking spaces are available above the "Troadkastl". Right next to it is the entrance to the cross-country ski trail.
