Hauser Kaibling summit (2.015 m)

Open
Summit victory with 360° panoramic view into the Ennstal
This medium-difficult hike to Hauser Kaibling is recommended for all summit stormers who want to enjoy a breathtaking 360° panoramic view of the Ennstal, the Dachstein Massif and the Schladminger Tauern. This hike is a particular hit during the Alpine rose blossom season. The view from the Kaibling summit and the lushly blooming alpine roses on the slopes of the Kaiblingalm in the second half of June are worth experiencing.

More information

Ennstalbundesstraße (B320) - Haus im Ennstal:

  • valley station Schladminger Tauern cable car (above the catholic church in Haus im Ennstal)
  • valley station Hauser Kaibling cable car (directly next to the main road)

The great difference in altitude can be comfortably overcome with the Schladminger Tauern cable car or Hauser Kaibling cable car & chair lift Quattralpina. The half-hour ascent to the summit of Hauser Kaibling (2,015 m) is full of views, the summit panorama is magnificent. The descent to the Rossfeldsattel requires some attention due to the Wurzelsteig. From the Rossfeldsattel the path leads to the Kaibling Alm. Tip: Make a short detour to the keep (approx. 15 min. more time required). From the Kaiblingalm it is a bit downhill to the beautifully landscaped storage pond. Walk around the pond and on a wide path back to the top station of the cable car.

Option 2: top station - Hauser Kaibling summit - top stationTime required: approx. 50 min.
