Floodlit trail Joglland trail

The starting point of the floodlit trail is, as with the entire trail network, directly at Gasthof Orthofer in St. Jakob im Walde. We start our cross-country skiing tour on the floodlit trail in the start/finish arena, where there are also several practice tracks, which are also floodlit. We follow the yellow markings, past the snowmaking pond, to a left-hand bend on a slight incline. After that, however, it's straight downhill. However, it is important not to go too fast here, as there is another sharp left-hand bend at the end. Here we try to carry the momentum into the next downhill section. Then we follow the trail, run uphill for a short distance, past the place for the snow depot in summer, and come to the turn of this trail. Now we return along the same route on the other side of the trail until we see the snowmaking pond again. At the pond, we keep to the right, pass above the pond and after a short time we reach our destination. Here we have the option of turning right to the end of the trail or keeping left and starting the next loop.

After work on the cross-country ski trail - every Tuesday and Thursday from 18:00 to 21:00 you have the opportunity to do your laps on the Jogllandloipe in St. Jakob im Walde under floodlights.
