Fire in the beer!
In Auersbach's "Atelier für Gebrautes", glowing enthusiasm turns into a cool blond or a dark temptation. However, malt, hops and a lot of know-how are part of it and so only 500 litres of wort are fermented per brew in the exclusive brewery by the brothers Günter and Roman Schmidt. The result is natural – means, neither filtered nor sterilised, refreshing and extraordinary organic fine beers. On 200 square meters, raw material storage, brewhouse, fermentation storage, cold store, brewery shop and delivery are housed.
The original varieties are now joined by many other beers with a strong character! Lava Bräu also creates exciting beers and whiskys from innovative raw materials, for example volcanic rice. SunRice, for example, is a radiantly slim beer that has rice as an ingredient. Summer Lava provides the necessary refreshment especially on hot days. Organic raspberry ensures the extraordinary fruit enjoyment.
Whisky-factory:
Since whisky production is closely related to brew art, the Schmidt brothers began producing styrian whiskys. Their actions led to the Brisky, a single malt in oak barrels, which immediately sold rapidly. The second product was a corn-whisky called woazky which got the gold-award on the World Spirit Award.
In the meantime, in addition to Brisky and Woazky, other whiskyrarities were created, such as Genesis. Genesis matured in mulberry barrels and brought to perfection in cherry barrels. The beer brandy called essence follows the same procedure such as the latest creation, the smoky-fruity Smokie.
