Hot Springs & Enjoyable Running
With six races in Leitersdorf bei Feldbach, Bad Waltersdorf, Bad Radkersburg, Bad Blumau, Fürstenfeld and Bad Loipersdorf, the Thermen- & Vulkanland Styria Running Cup is the largest running event in southeastern Austria. In 2026, it will take place for the 17th time.

The six running events not only offer a wide variety of races for all fitness levels, but also excellent service and a memorable outdoor experience amid the beautiful, gently rolling landscape of the Thermen- & Vulkanland. The Vulkanland Spring Run in Leitersdorf near Feldbach marks the start of the Thermen- & Vulkanland Running Cup. The varied route leads through the gently rolling landscape of the Vulkanland and offers running enjoyment for everyone – from ambitious athletes to recreational and family runners.

ORF Radio Styria Run Bad Waltersdorf
The ORF Radio Styria Run in Bad Waltersdorf is a sporting highlight for the whole family, with races for all ages and fitness levels.
The flat, AIMS-certified loop through the town centre offers a wide range of races, from the Bambini Sprint and Heiltherme Run to Nordic Walking and the half marathon. Music and the running festival on the village square create a lively atmosphere.
Bad Blumauer Running Festival
Running enthusiasts, take note! The Bad Blumau Running Festival is all about getting active, taking on a sporting challenge and sharing the joy of running. As part of the Thermen- & Vulkanland Running Cup, the event is the perfect opportunity to lace up your running shoes and discover Bad Blumau on the run.
Whether ambitious athletes, recreational runners or young talents, the various races offer the right challenge for every age and fitness level. A lively atmosphere, enthusiastic spectators and the unique charm of Bad Blumau make the Running Festival a sporting highlight in the Thermen- & Vulkanland.
Parktherme Wüstenlauf Bad Radkersburg
At the Parktherme Wüstenlauf, Bad Radkersburg once again becomes a meeting point for running enthusiasts. The race starts and finishes directly on the main square, with distances of 7 km, 14 km and 21.1 km to choose from.
Nordic walkers and Smovey walkers complete a 7 km course, while young runners can choose from distances ranging from 300 m to 1.2 km. A varied running event for all ages!
Brunnenlauf Fürstenfeld
At the Brunnenlauf in Fürstenfeld, exercise, joie de vivre and a shared sporting experience come together. The running route leads through the historic old town, passing the city’s gently bubbling fountains.
Whether with family, friends or sporting ambition, the focus is on enjoying the experience together and sharing the joy of running. A lively running event for all ages!
Buschenschank Run & Nordic Walking Bad Loipersdorf
At the Buschenschank Run & Nordic Walking in Bad Loipersdorf, sport, culinary enjoyment and the region’s rolling hills come together. The programme includes races over 5.25 km, 10.5 km and 21.1 km, as well as children’s races.
Nordic walkers and leisure hikers can enjoy a 12 km route along the Wine Experience Trail, passing traditional Buschenschank wine taverns and refreshment stops serving regional specialities. At the finish, the Buschenschank Festival with live music and regional delicacies provides the perfect way to round off the day.
