Alpannonia

This section of the alpannonia main trail is a 124.5-km high-altitude and scenic trail that runs from Fischbach in Styria to Kőszeg in Hungary. The “alpannonia – hiking without borders” trail network connects the Alpine region of Styria with the Hungarian Plain. It consists of a main trail and several regional routes (feeder trails) that link tourist destinations to the main trail.

Directions for: Alpannonia Long-Distance Hiking Trail: Fischbach–Kőszeg, Fischbach–Teufelstein (off the main trail, about 15 min one way) - Alpl - Pretul - Stuhleck - Pfaffensattel - Feistritzsattel - Hochwechsel - Mönichkirchen - Bridge over the highway - Hochneukirchen - Redlschlag - Bernstein - Goberling - Unterkohlstätten - Geschriebenstein (Irottkő) - Steirerhäuser - Kőszeg (Güns)

Alpannonia® Feeder Line in Styria

The various feeder trails connect the most important locations along the alpannonia long-distance hiking trail network to the main trail. They lead from the various regions to the alpannonia main trail, where they converge. The regional routes are marked with the yellow alpannonia trail marker.
