Grubbründlweg, Anger near Weiz

From Anger swimming pool, you first walk along the Feistritzrundweg - after the children's playground, turn right towards Haidenfeldsiedlung. Then continue in the direction of Oberfeistritz, always following the markings. The trail now climbs steadily along forest and meadow paths until you reach the Franziskus quarry. Another short stretch and you can already see the small, beautiful Grubbründl chapel. The construction of this chapel dates back to a Marian apparition in the 17th century. Numerous thanksgivings in the chapel bear witness to miraculous healings. The chapel, which was rebuilt at the beginning of the 1980s, invites visitors to come into harmony with God and nature.   Our hike then takes us back via Grub and Hart-Puch to Oberfeistritz. From there we walk along the Feistritz back to the starting point - Anger swimming pool

A few tips on correct and fair behavior in the forest:

Avoid visiting the forest approx. 1.5 hours before sunrise and sunset, as wild animals are particularly active at this time.Plastic bottles, handkerchiefs, cigarette butts etc. have no place in the forest, please do not leave any garbage in the forest!Making fires and camping is strictly forbidden in the forest!In principle, 2 kilos of mushrooms and berries per person may be collected for personal consumption, unless expressly prohibited by the forest owner (signs!).

- Before starting the hike, check where you can stop for refreshments, including opening times, or pack suitable food and drink.
