The Wexl Trails inspire with extensive panoramic trails on the Schwaigen and sweeping, soulful descents into the valley.

The routes through the hilly Wechselland region offer mountain bikers an intense experience of nature and a feeling of freedom that is second to none. You wind your way along forest paths and newly built trails up to the summit of the Hochwechsel at 1,743 m.

An excellent physical condition is required for the Wexl Trails, as they include both challenging differences in altitude and considerable distances.

A true paradise for courageous bikers who don't want to miss out on this breathtaking view!

Even for e-mountain bikers, this tour offers an incomparable experience!

The Styrian Panorama Trails were financed to 60 percent with funds from the federal government, the province of Styria and the European Union, with the remainder shared between the participating municipalities of the Styrian Wechsel Tourism Development Association (Schäffern, Pinggau, Friedberg, Dechantskirchen, St. Lorenzen am Wechsel, Rohrbach an der Lafnitz and Lafnitz).

The Styrian Wexl Trails are easily accessible from Vienna and Graz by car as well as by public transport. Here is an overview of the various entry points:

Access Hilmtor/Dechantskirchen: From Vienna or Graz via the A2 to the Pinggau exit, then continue in the direction of Dechantskirchen.
Access Dorfstatt/Festenburg: Take the A2 to the Pinggau exit and continue in the direction of Festenburg.
Access Jakominiplatz/St. Lorenzen am Wechsel: Take the A2 to the Pinggau exit and continue in the direction of St. Lorenzen am Wechsel.
Access Fichtenhof/Pinggau: Via the A2 to the Pinggau exit, from there in the direction of Schaueregg.

Various parking facilities are available around the Styrian Wexl Trails and their feeder routes.
