Shadow hike, RETTER Pöllauberg
Open
The shady path leads from the Hotel Retter Bio-Natur-Resort up to the pilgrimage church of Pöllauberg, which is well worth seeing, and impresses with its varied route and wonderful views.
This not too long, but all the more varied hiking trail leads from
Hotel. Retter up to the
pilgrimage site of Pöllauberg. In between is a romantic forest with the merrily bubbling Rauschbach stream, orchards and beautiful views of the Pöllau valley. The highlight in every respect, however, is the village of Pöllauberg, which impresses with its
church visible from afar and its beautiful townscape. Flower lovers will be delighted by the lush and colourful floral decorations and the
themed gardens below the church are definitely worth a visit.
This hike, originally intended for the hot season, is not only recommended as a shady summer walk, it is just as beautiful in spring with sprouting greenery and blossoming trees or in autumn when the colourful foliage paints a particularly beautiful landscape.
The trail is easy to walk and suitable for the whole family.
