The tour starts in the center of the Joglland-Waldheimat region, in the flower road village of Wenigzell with its barefoot park, Nordic walking center and Joglland Oasis. Through the Joglland you walk to St. Jakob im Walde with the blooming Europapark and the new exhibition center "Kräftereich".

The power path gives us insight into those sources of power that gave rise to our universe, our earth and ultimately ourselves. It shows us the sources of power that have always given man power and still do today. At the same time, the hike along the power path is also a journey through time for us. The journey through time begins in Wenigzell with the point in time when everything began - 15 billion years ago, when the "power of the stars" formed our universe. We walk through all the stations of time and learn about the mysterious forces that have shaped man's existence since the beginning of time. Arrived in the realm of forces St. Jakob im Walde we are in the 3rd millennium A.D.. Chr. arrived. The hike ends there with the "Power of the Future", which gives us insights into the new millennium.

Following our inner strength and curiosity, we walk through 15 billion years of evolutionary history and learn at 15 stations about all those forces to which we ultimately owe our existence.

The power path is marked with yellow boards, along the way the stations also serve as orientation.

Wenigzell is located in the Joglland mountains in the north-east of Styria.

By car:
From Vienna: via the A23 to the Pinggau exit and via the B54 to Rohrbach, then via Waldbach to Wenigzell

From Graz: take the A2 to the Gleisdorf-West exit and follow the L406 towards Wenigzell

We start at the village square in Wenigzell
We hike through the Joglland to St. Jakob im Walde.
On the power trail we pass various "power stations", e.g.:

A few tips on correct and fair behaviour in the forest: (Source: www.bundesforste.at )

Hikers should avoid visits to the forest about 1.5 hours before sunrise and after sunset, as wild animals are particularly active during this time.
Plastic bottles, handkerchiefs, cigarette butts etc. have no place in the forest! Please make sure that you do not leave any rubbish in the forest.
Camping and lighting fires are strictly forbidden in the forest!
In principle, every person is allowed to pick 2 kg of mushrooms and berries per day for personal use. It is only prohibited if the forest owner expressly forbids it.
Proper backpacking makes many things easier: pack heavy things first. The water bottle should always be within easy reach in a side pocket. All things that are often needed, such as sunglasses, camera or hiking map, belong on top.
An emergency kit belongs in every backpack!
A clothing according to the "onion system" is always recommended!
A good hiking boot is a good companion and should never be missing on the mountain!

There is also a lot to see in the two flower villages: The exhibition Kräftereich or the Europapark in St. Jakob im Walde or the barefoot park and the Bratlalm in Wenigzell are always worth a visit.
