Breitenau am Hochlantsch

The "Stoahandhütte" is located on the Sommeralm between the Heulantsch and the Plankogel. You can stop here during the hike and take a few minutes' rest. There is something to drink and a good Styrian snack on top. On the sun terrace you get a wonderful view over the Almenland.

The Stoahandhütte is the perfect stop for a break on a hike to the Heulantsch or the Plankogel summit and offers a wonderful view far beyond the Almenland. It is located on the Sommeralm and can only be reached on foot. The hut is located directly on the Heulantsch Runde (path no. 7).

When the weather is a bit windy, the hut offers seats inside as well as a large sun terrace with a perfect view of the alpine pastures. In addition to the good Styrian snacks and dishes, there are also homemade pastries and refreshing drinks.
