Sepciality Vinegar Oswald / Schaffer

The small vinegar factory of Beate Oswald and her partner Thomas Schaffer is located in Koglhof. Over the course of three generations of this family business, extensive knowledge about fruits, vegetables, and herbs for the production of schnapps, jams, and juices has been built up. This knowledge is now also applied in the vinegar production. A variety of flavorful, vegan vinegar varieties are made from home-grown fruits and herbs using traditional methods. Only regional products are processed in the vinegar factory according to old traditions. During a tour, visitors can also learn interesting facts about vinegar production.

Guided Tours:
During a tour of the vinegar factory in Koglhof, guests get insights into the processing of fruits as well as the traditional production of vinegar varieties. The tour is rounded off with a tasting of different varieties. 
Tours are offered from  April 1 to October 31  Wednesdays and Saturdays at 2:00 PM (duration of the tour is about 1.5 hours at a price of € 8.00 per person, free for children under 6)
