The cross-country ski trail Rabl-Kreuz at the foot of the Hochwechsel in Waldbach-Mönichwald is a natural snow trail and impresses with a wonderful panorama.

Starting from the Rabl-Kreuz hut, there are three trails with a total length of approx. 20 km at an altitude of 1350 to 1500m when there is sufficient natural snow. All trails are groomed daily for both classic cross-country and skating.

Please have € 6,- in cash ready for the toll booth! No card payment possible!

4.3 km Herrenstein trail
6.6 km Tannenwald trail

For those who are not yet exhausted after cross-country skiing, you can still enjoy the natural toboggan run. The 1.2 km long run goes towards Hochwechsel, first walking up and then returning with the toboggan to the starting point of the Rabl-Kreuz hut. Toboggans must be brought along.
