We cycle from the centre of Kindberg to the Ochnerbauer and back again. From the Ochnerbauer bed and breakfast you have a marvellous view of the Mürztal valley.

The route is a wonderful tour for experienced mountain bikers, and you can always enjoy marvellous views of the Mürztal valley. The end point is the Ochnerbauer bed and breakfast at over 1,000 metres above sea level.

From the direction of Bruck/Mur: Take the S6 highway, exit at Kindberg West, and follow the L118 towards the town center.

From Mürzzuschlag: Take the S6 highway, exit at Kindberg Ost, and follow the L118 towards the town center.

Free parking is available near the Kindberg West and Kindberg East highway exits.

We start from Kindberg town centre in the direction of Kindtal, before Pizzeria Danieli we turn right into Angerweg, then left into Friedhofgasse, past the cemetery onto Kronabichl, we follow the Tetschgraben to the ‘Schwarz-Hütte’. There we branch off in the direction of Frühstückpension Ochnerbauer and continue along Suppenbergstraße back down through the railway station settlement, past the beautiful Calvary hill back to the centre of Kindberg.

The bike rucksack should include:
Wind and rain protection, kit for minor repairs, spare inner tube, first aid kit, sun protection, mobile phone with sufficient battery, food and drink!

The Calvary Hill offers plenty for culture enthusiasts, and snapshots are always worth it.
