What guests can look forward to

Langenwang is known for its nature and cuisine. Hikes to the historic ruins of Hohenwang or to the 20-hectare river landscape of the Mürz, where the Mürztal Cycle Path runs, delight the whole family. The mountain bike trails to the surrounding mountain peaks are particularly attractive for experienced cyclists. The traditional „Christtagsfreude-Wanderung“ (a contemplative hike before Christmas Day) is already widely known. Before Christmas, you hike through the snowy landscapes from the birthplace of the well-known writer Peter Rosegger from Alpl to Langenwang. One follows in his footsteps with readings from his works. Framed by contemplative pieces by the „Weisenbläser“ (taditional brass band).

The artificial ice rink of Langenwang is a centre for ice skaters and ice hockey players. The award-winning restaurant Krainer impresses with culinary delights.
