Walk to the Natural Gem "Totes Weib"

Coming from Mürzsteg, park on the left before the tunnel entrance (about 8 km from Mürzsteg). Cross the state road (caution: traffic) and follow the old road along the rock walls past a gauge station until you reach the waterfall. The path continues for a few hundred meters before merging back into the new state road. Return via the same route.

A resting bench invites you to pause and enjoy the surroundings, and there is also a small climbing area on-site.

Simple Valley Walk

Most hiking and mountain tours in the Mürzer Oberland Nature Park take place in alpine terrain. For longer hikes and mountain tours, good physical condition, surefootedness, and a head for heights are recommended. On the high plateaus of Rax, Schneealm, and Veitsch, fog or bad weather can make navigation difficult.

In winter, always be aware of the avalanche risk!
