A fantastic opportunity to experience one of the natural gems of the Mürzer Oberland Nature Park up close in a completely barrier-free way.

A leisurely, flat walk along the former state road (now a cycling and walking path) leads to the "Totes Weib" waterfall. The impressive rock walls and the crystal-clear Mürz River add to the breathtaking scenery.

Coming from Mürzsteg, park on the left before the tunnel entrance (about 8 km from Mürzsteg). Cross the state road (caution: traffic) and follow the old road along the rock walls past a gauge station until you reach the waterfall. The path continues for a few hundred meters before merging back into the new state road. Return via the same route.

A resting bench invites you to pause and enjoy the surroundings, and there is also a small climbing area on-site.

Unweit des Spazierweges gibt es im Freinerhof eine kulinarische Rastmöglichkeit.
