Stage 13: Pölzl Alpine Inn – Schwabenberg – Turnau

Begin by ascending along the old ski slope and the well-marked hiking trail through hollow paths and forests to the Töllamoaralm. This stage is ideal on a Sunday, as the rustic Töllamoaralm hut is open then.

From the Töllamoaralm, continue following the well-marked trail toward Pogusch. The route leads westward over wide hiking paths, short forest road sections, and alpine trails with stunning panoramic spots, passing the Knollnalm and eventually reaching an old farmhouse.

Roughly 10 to 15 minutes after the farmhouse, the trail branches off to the right and begins descending toward Turnau. Here, take in the spectacular view over the entire Aflenz Basin, including the spa town of Aflenz, the Aflenzer Bürgeralm, and the Hochschwab.

The descent follows a hiking trail and then a forest road, crossing the slopes of the Schwabenbergarena ski area several times before finally reaching Turnau.
