The bike tour runs on federal and state roads.

Round trip through the Mariazeller Land to the Niederalpl and over the Lahnsattel and the Terz back to Mariazell.

Coming from Bruck an der Mur via the B20 over the Seebergsattel and through Gußwerk. Always follow the course of the road.

We start in Mariazell and drive along the B 20 to Gußwerk and continue towards Seeberg. In Wegscheid we turn left towards Niederalpl (L 113).

After crossing the Niederalpl pass we drive downhill to Mürzsteg - here we turn left onto the B 23 towards Frein and over the Lahnsattel to Terz.

Here we keep left and take the B 21 through the Halltal and up over the Kreuzberg back to Mariazell.

A few tips for safe cycling:

Check your bike's air pressure, spoke tension and brake pads after every tour.
A helmet is a must for every bike tour.
Consider in advance what equipment you need to take with you: warm clothing, rain and wind protection, a repair kit and first aid kit should be in your backpack, as well as a charged cell phone.

Detour to the Wetterinalm - from the top of the pass on the Niederalpl approx. 20 min walk (Sennhütte open from the beginning of June to 15 September, new tenant 2022)
