We start the tour directly in Mürzsteg and ride along the main road through the district of Dobrein until we reach the turnoff into Gschwandgraben on the right. From there, we continue along the path into Buchalpengraben and further up to the Dürriegelalm, located at an elevation of 1,253 meters. Here, there is the option to either connect to the Alpentour route to Mariazell or to ride back along the same route to the starting point.

A scenic mountain biking route of high difficulty. We experience a tour that is exceptionally picturesque. The same route can also be taken to return to the starting point. The distance for the one-way trip is 12 km.

This variant is recommended for experienced mountain bikers.

Mountain bike or trekking bike, safety equipment is essential.
