We start our tour at the entrance to Ganztal and ride towards Bärenkogel, continuing to Ganzalm. From here, we follow the most challenging section of the route up to Amundsenhöhe. Finally, we cycle the last 2 km to the Roseggerhaus on Pretul, where the ascent becomes more moderate.

The first 6 km follow a paved road to Bärenkogel. From there, a forest road leads to Ganzalm. Immediately after Ganzalm, the route becomes more challenging, followed by a moderate incline leading up to Pretul.

Coming from Vienna, take the S6 Semmering Expressway, exit at Mürzzuschlag West, turn right, and continue straight towards Ganztal, or park your car in Mürzzuschlag city center.

Coming from Graz, take the S6 Semmering Expressway, exit at Mürzzuschlag West, and turn right towards Ganztal. Since the MTB tour starts here, it is recommended to park your car in Mürzzuschlag city.

In Mürzzuschlag city center, there are several paid and free parking options available.

We start our tour at the entrance to Ganztal and follow the road towards Bärenkogel, already gaining significant elevation along the way. The paved road ends at Bärenkogel, where we continue on a well-maintained forest road with a gentle incline leading up to Ganzalm.

Immediately after Ganzalm, we encounter the most challenging section of the route, a 1 km ascent to Amundsenhöhe. Once past this section, we ride the final 2 km to the Roseggerhaus on Pretul, with a moderate incline.

For the return, we can either take the same route back or continue the tour into the Wind + Bike Park Pretul.

MTB access is permitted from May 15 to October 15, starting two hours after sunrise and ending two hours before sunset, and is at your own risk.

E-mountain bikes can be rented at eBock, located at the town square in Mürzzuschlag!
