From the centre of Kindberg we walk to the Calvary, which is well worth seeing, via serpentines to the Schöne Aussicht, on to the Ochnerbauer bed and breakfast and back to Kindberg.

A leisurely hike with a difference in altitude of 600 metres and wonderful views of the Mürztal valley.

from direction Bruck/Mur: S 6 exit Kindberg West

from direction Mürzzuschlag: S 6 exit Kindberg Ost

From the town centre - town hall - we walk down Kirchengasse over a small wooden bridge over the Mürz to the railway station. There the path leads left through a pedestrian subway. We then turn right to the Calvary (one of the most beautiful Calvaries in Austria), which is well worth seeing. Our path leads us up 13 hairpin bends (serpentines) to the Schöne Aussicht, on to the farms ‘Daniel’, ‘Grießberger’, ‘Simmerl im Eck’ and further along the ridge towards the Stanglalm to the ‘Schöne Aussicht’ junction. We walk back through the Tetschgraben along the road to the cemetery and on to the E-Werk. From the main road, we turn left towards the town hall.
