The traditional Bodenbauer mountain inn is one of the best-known starting points for tours in the Hochschwab region. Also well worth a visit is the Hochschwab Museum, offering fascinating insights into the area's history and the stories surrounding the legendary "Büchsenmacher Rosl".
The hike to Häuslalm leads through forests and mountain pine fields to one of the region's most popular alpine huts. For those looking for an even greater reward, the tour can be extended to the scenic summit of Buchbergkogel, which is highly recommended.
