Enjoy a comfortable ride to the top with the Stuhleck cable cars before setting off on a winter hike high above the valley. The tour begins with the Stuhleckbahn and Weißenelfbahn lifts, followed by a scenic winter walk to the mountain station. Return via the same route.

Take the S6 Semmering Expressway and exit at Spital am Semmering to reach the Stuhleck ski resort.

This hike can also be enjoyed on snowshoes. Snowshoes and hiking poles can be rented from the local ski rental shops.

The starting point is at the valley station of the Stuhleck cable car. Here you will also find the main ticket office, pick-up ticket machines, ski rental, and ski storage facilities. Please note: The last downhill cable car departs at 4:30 pm.

As a winter hiker, you are responsible for your own safety. Before setting out, make sure to check local conditions, the weather forecast, and the avalanche situation. Stay on the designated winter hiking trails and do not leave the marked route. Please note that parts of the trail run alongside or cross ski slopes, so be especially aware of downhill skiers.
