The Lurgbaueralmhütte at the foot of the Schneealm is certainly worth discovering.
Take a deep breath, let the beautiful nature all around have an effect on your soul and just enjoy the mountain view.
You will become the feeling of being home and if you spend a night you can relish a breathtakingly sundown in the mountains.
We are organic!
All day hot and regional meals with products from our own hunting and organic farming.
The hut is open from the beginning of May to the end of October – depending on the weather!
<p>Conditions</p>
The room price not only includes the overnight tax, but also a rich breakfast buffet with dairy products from our own organic alpine dairy.
You have the option of using a hot water shower with a coin-operated machine.
In our 5-bed room, the beloved four-legged friends are also warmly welcome with an extra charge of € 7 per night!
Children up to 6 years of age receive a reduced room rate. If the children sleep in their parents' bed, only breakfast has to be paid for.

Contact & Directions
The Lurgbauerhütte with the organic alpine dairy can only be reached on foot or by mountain bike and is located at the foot of the Ameisbühel on the Schneealm.
There are different ascent variants to the Lurgbauerhütte, you have to expect an ascent time between approx. 2 and approx. 4 hours. A hike to the Lurgbauerhütte begins, for example in Altenberg an der Rax or in Neuberg an der Mürz, where you can drive to the Kohlebnerstand.
You can get to the starting point of the hike in just 1.5 hours by car from Vienna and Graz.
