Experience the cuisine of 4-toque chef Andreas Krainer, once classic with a menu from the tavern kitchen in the winter garden and once regional and creative with the ‘Forest & Home’ menu in the gourmet restaurant in Langenwang. Afterwards, sink into bed in the new Waldheimat rooms. In between, you can relax and unwind in the ‘entSPAnnt sauna area’ or discover the Waldheimat on two wheels or on a hike.

Our house, embedded in the mountainous and wooded region of the "Waldheimat", is a family-run business with a gourmet restaurant, traditional tavern, café and hotel that is entirely focused on sustainable enjoyment.
Andreas Krainer is well connected with regional producers. When we work together in the kitchen, tradition, responsibility and creativity go hand in hand. A kind of “New Styrian Cuisine” that is close to the Slow Food idea.
Our hotel is also a popular place to hold seminars, meetings and conventions on a small scale. Our conference room for up to 40 participants and our Stüberl for max. 20 people offer the ideal setting for creative and professional work at seminars and meetings.
