Kitchen Hours
We currently offer all-day hot meals in the form of beef and vegetable soup with bacon and cheese dumplings, as well as liver cheese sandwiches, bee sting tiramisu, cheesecake, and a vegan chocolate-peanut cake. Between 11:00 and 14:00 and between 18:00 and 20:00, there are also up to four different varying main dishes that offer all options from meat to vegetarian to vegan.
Accommodation
For accommodation, a total of 36 beds are available in double to quadruple rooms, as well as 68 mattress dormitory spaces – rustic, cozy, and with the special flair of a genuine Alpine Club hut. Please note that all overnight stays require sleeping bags. We are dog-friendly and family-friendly, but would also like to point out that the Habsburg House is not barrier-free.
Special Location – Special Logistics
Our unique location in the midst of the alpine mountain world of the Rax not only brings stunning views but also exceptional logistical challenges. Many everyday items – such as electricity or water – must be brought to the hut with great effort.

Additional notes:
• Dog-friendly and family-friendly, but not wheelchair accessible
• Access is only possible on foot; upon request, the material cable car can be used for luggage transport
• Logistical peculiarities: Electricity, water, and supplies must be transported to the hut with considerable effort – therefore we charge a flat fee of € 3 per device (charging) and € 3 per liter of spring water
• Card payment (Visa, Mastercard, EC) is available

The access is only possible on foot – varying in duration and difficulty depending on the route. For comfortable luggage transport, our material cable car is available upon request.
