In addition to the feel-good atmosphere, enjoy a magnificent view over Veitsch and the mountain world as well as the absolute tranquility. The area around Veitsch is ideal for strolls as well as extensive hikes. Notably, the expansive high plateau extends from the summit of Hohe Veitsch at 1,986 m above sea level, gently sloping for several kilometers eastward down to Klein-Veitsch-Alm at 1,451 m. Chamois, deer, eagles, capercaillies, alpine choughs, edelweiss, petergstamm, and gentians are native here. Cyclists and mountain bikers also find plenty to enjoy.
The holiday apartments partially feature connecting doors, making them ideal for friendly families vacationing together. In the dining and living area, you can comfortably sit together, and besides the bedroom, each holiday apartment has a gallery with additional beds – a paradise especially for children.

Route: Take the motorway exit Mitterdorf - drive through the village of Veitsch until you reach the magnesite plant (Rhi Magnesita) - turn left at the inn Vorraber. Then there is a small bridge (Herrenhausweg), where you also turn left again. Continue past the large yellow house, and you will come to a forest path; just follow that.
