Information
The over 120 years old house on the edge of the city center of Mariazell - which has been in the possession of the Murg family for 3 generations - was lovingly renovated in 2017/2018 and offers families, small groups, and also individual guests a place to find relaxation. There is no television, but there are some books and games available to borrow. Wi-Fi is available but does not have to be switched on.
For tenants of the first floor, there is direct access to the garden. In spring, summer, and autumn, there are seating, dining, relaxation, and grilling opportunities available. In winter, the garden can also be used, e.g., for building snow castles or "sack sliding".

Location of the house
The location of the house offers the opportunity to walk to the nearby cable car to get to the Bürgeralpe. The basilica of Mariazell and the local shops can also be reached on foot in a few minutes. Numerous hikes or ski tours on the Bürgeralpe can also be undertaken directly from the house.In winter it is possible to borrow snowshoes or tobogganing free of charge after prior notification and a written reservation. In summer there is the opportunity to go swimming in the nearby Erlaufsee or simply relax in the garden.
