Neuberg an der Mürz
I live in Krieglach in the Mürztal region of Styria, where I also grew up. As a child, I spent a lot of time in our local mountains and got to know and love them. Since I still prefer to spend my free time engaged in sporting activities in nature, I have turned my hobbies into a profession and work as a self-employed hiking and biking guide, and in winter I work part-time as a ski instructor. This way, I can spend a lot of time in our beautiful mountains and share my joy for movement and nature with other people.
For me, there is nothing more beautiful than being in nature, discovering the diversity of plants along the way, drinking delicious water from a clear mountain spring, enjoying the splendid view from a mountain peak, feeling the elements in the wind, sun, rain, and snow, encountering animals in the forest and fields, lying in the soft grass under the sun, and refreshing my legs in the cold water of a rushing stream after a long hike.
As a "Nature Guide", I see my task as accompanying people in their sporting activities, bringing them closer to the beauty of nature, and enabling a special nature experience in a safe environment. I want to spark interest in what surrounds us and open people's eyes to the wonderful diversity in our mountains.
There is so much to see, hear, feel, and smell when one is mindful and open-sensed in nature, and it does our soul and body good.
