The Häuslalmhütte is located 1526 m above sea level near the Sackwiesensee (highest but warmest lake in the Hochschwab area).

From Bodenbauer on hiking trail no. 840 you can reach the Häuslalm in about 2 hours of walking. Culinary, the hikers are spoiled with good home-style cooking (sandwiches, sausages, soups and warm dishes).
