Gemeindealpe Mitterbach - Sommer

Two chair lifts take you from 807 m to 1,626 m above sea level in the shortest possible time and thus to the highest excursion mountain in the Mariazell region. From the summit of the Gemeindealpe you can enjoy a unique 360-degree panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and explore the impressive nature on numerous hiking trails.

Action, fun and panoramic views The mountain cart ticket includes a ride on the lift up to the summit. A snack in the Terzerhaus is a good idea, followed by the panoramic circular trail or, for the little ones, the climbing playground, before taking the chairlift back to the middle station.

From here, you can take a mountain cart down the 4.6 km long, well-maintained gravel road. Children from the age of 4 ride for free with an adult. From 8 years and a minimum height of 140 cm may drive the vehicle itself.
