On the first weekend of July, the traditional market days will once again take place in Turnau as a festival of associations, organizations, and thus the entire population.
Visitors can look forward to a diverse range of offerings as well as opportunities to stroll, shop, and exchange ideas.
This year, as a special program highlight, the ORF Radio Steiermark Hiking Day will take place as part of the event, featuring a diverse supporting program along the Jakobusweg.
It kicks off on Friday, July 3 with DJ Baron and a "Shift End" party.
On Saturday, July 4, the ORF Radio Steiermark Hiking Day starts at 8 a.m. along the Turnauer Jakobusweg.
In the afternoon, the actual market day begins at 3 p.m. with performances by the Turnauer young musicians. The event continues with a duck race along the Ganibach. Musical entertainment will be provided by the "Zaigners" and from 6 p.m. the "Sulmtal Express".
