May 8, 2026: "Do you remember...?"
Childhood is memory, feeling, and experience at the same time. In the storytelling café, we want to engage in conversation over coffee and cake. The focus is on personal memories – of early experiences, games, books, school, or food. The storytelling café sees itself as an open space for exchange: listening is as welcome as telling.
June 19, 2026: "Just one more page...!"
Books have accompanied many people since their childhood. Some stories have excited us, bored us, others perhaps even frightened us – and many have remained in memory to this day.
July 10, 2026: "Are you coming out to play?"
Playing was and is a central part of childhood. While nature and simple materials often defined play in the past, new possibilities like the Gameboy or other digital game worlds came later. How did people play in the past? Which games were particularly popular? What were the favorite playplaces – outside or inside? And how has play changed over time?
August 7, 2026: "Room, kitchen, cabinet!"
How did we live? Where did we play, eat, learn? And who took care of daily life? These questions are at the center of this storytelling café. In a shared conversation, we remember different living environments: from simple housing to changing living standards, from clearly defined roles to new forms of coexistence.
