Embark on a literary historical discovery tour
In the late Middle Ages, the monks of the Neuberg Monastery not only engaged with biblical texts and hagiographies, but also with agriculture, medicinal plants, and much more.
What did the monks already know back then about local and foreign animals, plants, and fungi, and how to utilize them – about flora and fauna, dragons and potatoes? A literary historical expedition leads through monastery walls, text, and nature to today's Nature Experience Museum "nature4future."
Duration: approximately 2 hours
