Natural History Museum

The new Natural History Museum in the Mariazell Heimathaus provides an insight into the diversity of fauna and flora and the early history of the pilgrimage site and its surroundings. Prehistoric and early historical exhibits such as Roman coins, as well as items from the Celtic period, testify to the initial settlement of the area.

Visitation is possible during opening hours without a guided tour:
July 1 - September 7 Thursdays and Saturdays from 4.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m.
