Kaiserau in the winter
Winter all-rounder
At Kaiserau, you won't miss out on anything winter-related. Whether skiing, cross-country skiing or walking around – the high plateau is ideal for escaping the fog in the valley and sticking your cold nose into the fresh winter air.
On the Kaiserau, you can go classic cross-country skiing and skating on the approximately 5 km long high-altitude trail, or get out at the car park and slip into your ski boots. There are two T-bar lifts, a platter lift and two magic carpets for the little ones. If you're still a bit wobbly on your skis or snowboard, it's best to drop by the Gesäuse Ski School, the only ski school in the Gesäuse. Equipment is also available for hire.
