In the midst of nature

This sector includes forest owners and forestry companies who recognise the special nature of a natural forest. They allow the forest to develop naturally by refraining from forestry use and maintenance – at least in parts of their forest property. This allows nature to take the lead in these areas. In managed forests, the aim is to organise forestry operations in accordance with the principles of nature park forest management and/or the criteria of Pro Silva.
