What requirements must you meet as a Gesäuse partner?

To become a genuine Gesäuse partner, the following criteria should apply to you:

  • Your business must be located within the Gesäuse tourism region.
  • You recognise and support the values of the national park, nature park, wilderness area and tourism association. For example, you are committed to maximum environmental protection and sustainability in your business.
  • ou are very willing to actively contribute ideas and cooperation to the network.
  • You live and love regionality (use of regional products and raw materials, region-specific services, new inventions or traditional products).
  • Your product or service is as specific to Gesäuse as possible and may even only be found here in the region.
  • The network wants to be economically successful. It is therefore important to contribute services on a scale that is or should be economically relevant. An exception is made for associations or cultural organisations that meet all other criteria and bring added value to the network.
  • You identify with the quality and partnership criteria or with the criteria in your industry (see Quality and Partnership Criteria 2023+).
  • Your business must have been in existence for at least one, preferably two years, so that the partner network can assess whether you are a good fit.

How to become a Gesäuse Partner

Admission to the partner network follows a certain procedure:

  • Preliminary information: It is advisable to have a brief informal conversation with a member of the network or one of the supporting organizations beforehand.

  • Filling out the application form: You can find the application form on the partner website (partner.gesaeuse.at/downloads) and
send the completed form to partner@gesaeuse.at.

  • Presentation of the business to the network: If your application is approved, you will have the opportunity to present your business to the partner council. The council will then decide on your admission to the network.

  • Finally, you sign the partnership agreement, which makes the partnership official.

  • Benefits and training: As a member, you can expect numerous benefits and also a few obligations. Twice a year, you will have the opportunity to get to know the network and the participating institutions at a regional training session.

BECAUSE IT MAKES SENSE TO SHOWCASE GOOD PARTNERSHIPS.

  • Your clay tablet at the entrance is more than just decoration: it is a statement.
  • You can use the partner label – online, offline, on anything that looks good.
  • You are (more) visible in print products and on the partner website.

LEARN FROM EACH OTHER. GROW TOGETHER.

  • Interesting workshops with professionals from the region and beyond.

  • Presentation of your business online and offline: including on the partner website and partner map.
  • Professional photo shoot when you join – for you, your business, your product.
