Challenging climbs, varied trails and frequent views of the imposing Reiting massif: the Reitingblick Circuit I 803 covers around 21 kilometres through the diverse landscape around Trofaiach, combining a nature experience with a sporting challenge.
The Reitingblick Route I 803 is a varied panoramic tour around Trofaiach. Over a distance of around 21 kilometres, quiet side roads, cycle paths and gravel sections alternate with challenging climbs and descents. From the Krumpenloipe area, the route leads via the Gladenterrasse and Unterkurzheim to Gimplach. The route continues over the Putzenberg towards Gai. The Reiting, from which the route takes its name, provides a striking backdrop throughout the ride. Via Gausendorf and the Kehrterrasse, the route continues through the town of Trofaiach and then into the Laintal valley. Here, the steep ‘Forst’ climb presents one of the most physically demanding sections of the route. On the high plateau near the Haiderhof, the landscape opens up again before the tour leads back to the starting point via the Rötzgraben and Hafning. The mix of challenging sections, peaceful stretches of countryside and beautiful panoramic views makes the Reitingblick Loop a varied mountain bike route around Trofaiach.
