The starting point of this beginner's tour, which is also suitable for the sporty family, is at the parking lot of the Eisenerz sports hall, where you first cycle along the Eisenbundesstraße and after about 500 m turn right to the Leopoldsteinersee lake. You cycle past the romantic Leopoldstein Castle to the lakeshore and along the western shore on a gravel path leisurely along the lake, before the climb to the right begins on the Prossen. At the apex, you first pass the "Blauer Herrgott" (Blue God) before you start the descent towards Eisenerz.

At the junction with the B115 at the end of the descent, the busy federal road must be crossed to reach the cycle path (watch out for cross traffic!). Along the cycle path on the Eisenbundesstraße the tour now leads back to the starting point.

The route runs away from main roads, 10% on bike paths and 90% on side roads. The nature of these roads and paths are divided into 39% asphalt, 61% gravel.
