From the starting point, the
Sagtümpel, trail no. 216 leads over the "Riesen" to the Tauplitzalm.
Once at the top of Schwarzensee, follow the trail eastward across gentle alpine pastures in the direction of Leistalm.
From the Leistalm follow the slightly ascending trail no. 218/209A through sparse larches to a gentle ridge, then descending further on trail no. 218/209A to a plateau. Through a small romantic valley you finally reach the alpine pastures belonging to the Interhütten Alm. Walk in an easterly direction across the alpine pastures directly to the alpine huts.
From the alpine huts continue to the east, past a well into a small depression from which trail no. 218/209A leads to the left into the Nattern Graben.
Crossing the Grimmingbach stream, you reach the fork of trails no. 218/209A in the direction of the Hochmölbing hut. Our path leads out of the valley to the Gnanitzalm. There you can refresh yourself in the Johnsleitner and the Hechlhütte, before you hike back comfortably for about 1 1/2 hours to the starting point.
