This loop trail winds through Austria's second-largest floodplain forest.
After the third station you reach the ship mill in Mureck. The mill was built in 1997 according to the original model and is the only floating and functioning mill in Central Europe in traditional construction. The restaurant Mühlenhof attracts with regional delicacies with a view of the Mur.
If you are already in Mureck, you should not miss the town hall tower, through which we enter the main square about 600 m further on. On it, inside and outside, there are 16 stone reliefs from the 16th century, which juxtapose ancient mythology and scenes from the Old Testament with the New Testament.
