The course leads mostly through the forest on gravel and sandy ground. The circuit requires a good level of fitness. Partial stretches lead over gentle climbs, which have been optimally chosen for demanding and pleasure runners. To improve physical fitness, the loop can also be run a second time!

The starting point of the route is the entrance to the 18-hole golf course Bad Waltersdorf. After 200 m turn left, then straight ahead along the golf course on the left hand side. After 2.100 m turn left into the Höhenstraße of Leitersdorfberg. After 300 m you have to turn right on the gravelled path towards the forest. Follow this path for a longer part of the route and then you have to turn right. Here you continue along the freeway side road, or the cycle path R33. At 6,800 m keep to the right in the direction of Leitersdorfberg Straße. After another 800 m turn left and walk along Leitersdorfer Straße back to the starting point of the entrance to the golf course.
