Thermenland fountain Fürstenfeld

This well stands as a symbol for the clean energy generation from the Earth's interior, heating public buildings and numerous households with thermal water from a depth of 1,950 meters. At the same time, this well also represents the power of the water from the many thermal boreholes in this region. Fürstenfeld is the center of the spas in the Thermal Region of Styria and Burgenland.

An apt synergy between heaven and earth is found in the following biblical myth: In the beginning was the great Nothing: The earth was barren and empty, darkness prevailed over the primordial flood. Then God divided the world into two halves: A dome separated the upper waters from the lower waters. And God called the dome Heaven. According to the Old Testament, there is an unending supply of water beneath the Earth's surface.
