Since its opening in 1987, the Saziani Restaurant & Hotel in Straden has stood for fine cuisine and personal hospitality. In May 2023, Christoph Mandl and his fiancée Ruth Heusch took over the operation as new tenants. Together with winemaker Christoph Neumeister, they continue the history of the house and combine culinary tradition with the standards of a modern gourmet restaurant.

The focus of the kitchen is on selected producers and businesses from the region. High-quality ingredients, clear flavors, precise preparation, and careful craftsmanship define the dishes. The close connection to the region around Straden and the contemporary approach to culinary arts make Saziani a special destination for enjoyment in the Thermen- & Vulkanland Steiermark.
