For years, the Liebmannsee bathing pond has been enjoyed by countless guests who love swimming in its original form. The facility is opaque on the street side and therefore allows for undisturbed bathing fun. Toilet facilities and showers are located on the property. The Liebmannsee has been a well-known fishing water for years and is also a household name for many anglers. Fishing has been practiced here for several decades and is enjoyed by countless visitors. In 2010, the Liebmannsee will be taken back into the hands of its owners and given new attractiveness. Bathing and Fishing Pleasures In 1967, Heinrich Liebmann began excavating work on his property with the intention of removing the abundant gravel. A few years later, Margarethe Liebmann took over the resulting pond and continued the dredging. In 1978, after the work was completed, the Liebmannsee was leased by the municipality of Bad Radkersburg and used for fishing. Since 2008, the Liebmann family has been taking care of the lake again. The old fishing hut was demolished and replaced with a modern "lake house". Mirror, scale and Amur carp, as well as pike, zander and catfish are present in the pond. You can swim in the Liebmannsee in its original form. The facility is opaque from the street side and therefore allows for undisturbed bathing fun. The restaurant on the lake, the "Seehaus", offers a beautifully furnished, covered terrace with enough space for relaxing hours by the lake.
