If you expect a flat paved path here, you are mistaken

Even though the Legend Path is also called "the accessible Legend Path Altenmarkt - Fürstenfeld," it cannot be assumed that accessible means wheelchair-friendly. While there are some stations accessible by wheelchair in both Altenmarkt and Fürstenfeld that can be visited by people with mobility impairments, we would like to emphasize that the Buchwald between the Fürstenfeld campsite and the Altenmarkt ice rink is not passable for wheelchair users and people with mobility impairments. This part is a mountain hiking trail and is marked as such. It requires good footwear and surefootedness. The Legend Path in the Buchwald area is very natural - it is intended for one to consciously experience the natural environment, discover it, become one with it, and confront the challenges of nature and its consequences.
