Fuxbau Gin-Manufaktur

The Fuxbau OG Distillery, founded by Roman Fuchs and Andreas Bauer, stands for handcrafted gin and spirits made from 100% natural ingredients. Nestled in the idyllic East Styrian hilly countryside, the small manufactory combines regional flavors into distinctive creations. The two draw inspiration from the forests of Styria: spruce buds, pine cones, rowan berries, wild blueberries, elderflowers, and acacia honey create a multifaceted taste experience.

It all begins with passion: After a city trip and numerous attempts with a rotary evaporator, Fuxbau Gin was created, distilled in a 20-liter copper still in St. Magdalena. The base consists of spruce tips, pine cones, juniper, coriander, and angelica root, complemented by masterwort, bloodwort, galangal, jasmine, chamomile, and hibiscus flowers, as well as rowan berries. Each ingredient is distilled and aged separately, allowing the gin to develop its unmistakable aroma.

Visitors are warmly invited to tour what is probably the smallest distillery in the world, to participate in tastings, or even to create their own gin in workshops. In addition to gin, Fuxbau also offers bitters, liqueurs, and limited special editions. Every drop tells the story of craftsmanship, passion, and connection to nature – ideal for connoisseurs and as a gift.
