    BIKEPARK PLANAI

On the Planai alone, there are 35 km of bike trails with a full range of difficulty, all of which can be reached quickly and comfortably on the 10-passenger gondola lift. The new flowline begins right next to the mountain terminal. It winds its way down to the valley through a sparse mountain forest, built so that beginners always feel safe, while experienced bikers will be able to pick up plenty of speed and fly over countless undulations.

If you prefer not to take advantage of the new 10-passenger lift to get up the mountain, there is also a new uphill flow trail. With an eMTB, the ride up through numerous bends becomes a veritable roller coaster ride, though the moderate incline means this trail can also be a pleasant ride on a traditional mountain bike as well.

The crowning glory of the Planai for ambitious downhill bikers is the new 99 Jumpline, which also celebrates its premiere this year. It offers adrenaline junkies a 3.5 km downhill ride with 99 jumps along the way – definitely a whole new league in the German-speaking bike world.

    Reiteralm Trails

With the Reiteralm Trails, 15 km of new single tracks were opened in summer 2019 on the training mountain used by the ski elite. Here, you can ride up on the 8-passenger Preunegg Jet gondola. At that point, bikers can choose between natural trails with exposed roots and the newly built Enduro trails.

Better still, it doesn’t matter whether you have your own bike with you or not: In the bike centers at the Preunegg Jet mountain station and the Planai valley station, the right equipment for everybody is available to either buy or rent.

The Reiteralm Junior Trails and the BikeArea on the Planai also make the Schladming-Dachstein bike region a true paradise for beginners. With a magic carpet to help you get to the top, the small parks are ideal practice grounds for small children with push bikes as well as for adults. The necessary equipment – from bikes to protective gear – is available on site.

Practical: Bike ticket promises double the action. It is valid for Bikepark Schladming as well as the Reiteralm Trails - which means, with just a single ticket you can look forward to 50 km of trail riding enjoyment. With your bike ticket, though also with the Schladming-Dachstein Sommercard, you can also use the bike shuttle bus between Schladming and the Reiteralm for free.

    Singletrack Haus-Aich

    • 801 Re-Cycle Track
    • 802 Gradenbach Track
    • 803 Lärchen Track
„I toured the world for 15 years. Now, I look forward to sharing my experiences on my favorite local trails with bikers of all ability levels.“
